😀 I love those. Once, when little, I found on family vacation one almost big as a ball and brought it proudly to my mum. Everybody looked at it like eww, but it was awesome, firm and not hollow at all. My mum just looked over all the disgusted losers and brought it in without saying a word to them. What a great dinner. And soup the next day.

Seems like a good memory.

I’ve only found a giant once… hopefully will again this year. I feel like their flesh is so luxurious.

It is, isn't it? I'm looking forward some morels this year, found a few last year, didn't know what it was (weird stuff) and left.

I know😭 But the place is 3h drive away and I'm anchored to kids😭 Also temperatures dropped from 26 to 3C, I guess even mushrooms didn't take it well😖

Hiking with kids is a great family activity.

Hunting mushrooms is also teaching the kids valuable foraging skills.
