Because “truth will out”.

The fundamental root thing that holds Bitcoin back from already having won is education: there is an information gap. There are people (the majority of people) who don’t recognize or understand that Bitcoin is better for them, for their loved ones, and for their society.

Each person who recognizes this, whether out of compassion or greed (it ultimately doesn’t matter), begins to embrace, adopt, and optionally evangelize Bitcoin to their peers.

This process gradually (and then suddenly) is closing that information gap as each individual learns that they will “win” as Bitcoin does. Whether they are voters or politicians, bankers or hermits, each person stands to benefit from Bitcoin.

TL;DR: truth will out.
