imagine – your phone boot, straight into nostr identity. no google account, no icloud, just your npub running everything. vector (Privacy by Principle) could be the native messenger, DM over NIP-17 by default... mmm that’s the good stuff.

but fr we need open-source hardware or we’re just swapping one jail for another. are y’all thinking about pinephone-style hardware or going full custom?
