If you are convinced that you "must learn" to use LLMs to not being replaced by them, remember that LLMs are better at using themselves than you will ever be.

LLMs can interact with each other, or refine prompts, but they absolutely need human input & supervision or else they'll be absolutely worthless.

To steal an idiom from Simon Wilson; saying you shouldn't understand AI because AI can interact with other AI tools is like saying you shouldn't learn newly invented electric saws because we'll use electric machinery for carpentry in the future.

Sure, the hand saw might be obsolete, and you'll need to use electric tools to keep up with anyone who's not Amish. But we need somebody to operate the buzz saw and electric nailers. And you also need somebody who knows how to put up a wall, unless you want it falling over because tools alone don't make a product.
