My default zaps in early nostr days was 420 while I was receiving zaps of 1 or 5 sats. So I went to 333, then 42, and now 19. I now realize you guys were right and I wasn’t thinking it through… high value zaps encourage ‘Steemit-like’ behavior and various forms of begging, while small denomination sats zaps encourage low-time preference behavior.
