Well you also have to recognize that not everybody likes people focus social media.

Like I'm a Reddit user I like topics and communities so that shit really sucks here.

Just a lot of good morning good night posts and people posting pictures of their food and their cat and shit.

I'm not interested in that that provides nothing of value to me or my life.

I'm looking for valuable information shit to solve my problems.

That's what I don't get.

Why does Noster just want to be another social media site instead of a tool like Reddit?

You Google anything and what comes up a Reddit post with more than likely an answer to your exact fucking question.

Nostr needs to be more like that

Not just another fucking social media Twitter clone dude. I need to be something actually useful. There's a gazillions of different Twitter clones all over the place.

There's nothing special about that

But there's only one fucking Reddit.

And nobody else can seem to step up to the plate to be something bigger and better than it

There many different use cases on nostr being built, including a reddit clone.

What we're working on now in aimed at microblogging, not yet reddit style discussions.

Which client do you use now?

I use the spring app and Amethyst so I pretty much bounce around from Noster apps I use a lot of them. That's kind of my point. I don't want to have to use 50,000 fucking clients to use a social media service.

Sorry I'm not saying that to be a dick it's just frustrating you know. I see these conversations and it's like "hey what about communities man maybe kind of work on those a little bit and get some more people over here?"

It's not a big deal. But what I'm trying to say is I don't feel like I'm being heard. And I don't feel like other users who agree and prefer Reddit Style no sir clients feel heard either we're kind of just put to the Wayside. And forgotten about

Which really sucks because I want to use no stir as my primary social media. But there's no point in doing that now there's nothing here for me.

Instead of solving something that's always oh you can just use these five other clients and it's like okay, yeah that doesn't solve my fucking problem at all or fix the fact that there's nobody using communities like at all. LOL sorry I'm just venting don't take it personal I just have to be honest though I can't bullshit

Yeah and see that's what sucks. The majority of developers are focusing on microblogging.

I honestly don't see much development in the near future as far as Reddit style nostr clones in the near future if I'm being honest.

I'm not a developer so I don't have y'all's magical internet powers. But if I did I wouldn't just be focusing on what only I like and what I use, I would incorporate all of it. You've got to think of your Market. People like different things.

Like when the API change happened with Reddit and everyone protested that was like a really huge opportunity for Noster to get Reddit users. But because there isn't anything implemented yet no one stuck around.

I primarily use amethyst. But I do use satellite Earth and no strudel for the communities that I made. I only use those to approve posts because they're god-awful to just sit there and chill and use.
