Agreed this is something I fear someone breaking into my place and me not being able to do anything. I’m not afraid of the person I’m afraid of my government. This has happened to me before my friend one time forgot his charger I was sleeping so I didn’t let him in he kicked my door down and I just hid in my room sometimes my friend would bring his friends over one of them tried to fight me in my place over a misunderstanding I couldn’t do anything. This is when I was 17 I’m 21 now if someone breaks into my place or tries to harm me in my place I’m going all out no if ands or buts. Shitty thing is if I kill someone with my hammer or knifes in my own place I’ll probably get manslaughter but I don’t care I have a right to feel safe and unthreatened in MY OWN HOME!!!

No bullshit government law. It is a civic duty to disobey unjust laws.

Exactly why I disobey this law. Don’t get me wrong I believe harassment is a real offence but internet harassment? Nah I’m sorry but turn your phone off or stay off the internet. No message on the internet should be punishable by jail time in my eyes unless the odd scenario where someone is a proven terrorist plotting a terror attack or something crazy like that. Under the “Criminal harassment” law of Canada technically any teenage boy who’s been in a call of duty lobby talking shit is a criminal. It’s bullshit.
