Banks are motivated by profit, which includes enslaving people with the easy debt they hand out to needy people, even when they know these people can’t necessarily afford it.

Governments are motivated by power and profit, which includes making people reliant on government so they have an excuse to tax more.

Both of these motives are contradictory to human flourishing.
