So the car I got two years ago is a 2010 and it's the first car I've owned that expects you to have the headlights on all the time (while driving, I mean) and the headlights have failed again.

Is that just the norm for a car that has the headlights always-on thing? My old car didn't seem to chew through them as quickly.
