i used to be one of those folks when i was younger, that thought anime was just for kids and weebs, but having seen the depth anime has, it often times goes above and beyond the actual shows popularised on tv

I haven’t watched that many tbh but most that I liked were Miyazaki films - howl’s Moving Castle, spirited away, Kiki’s delivery service.
Not an anime but short animated film Zima Blue from love death and robots on Netflix was good
