Law-abiding citizen: Virtue or vice?
Discussion
What law?
Vice-a-roni.
It’s definitely an extreme.
The law is not always ethical, if they chose unethical laws over ethical illegality, it is definitely a vice.
In general though I think it’s a virtue in terms of making them trustworthy, or atleast predictably consistent in their choices.
As far as I’m concerned though
FUCK THE LAW 🖕
I don't hate the concept, but the system is flawed.
I'm not interested in law abiding citizens.
We all have the capability of doing what we are told or not.
Where are the moral abiding citizens?
Mere pragmatism
It is definitely both
Mostly vice. Nazi Germany had many law abiding citizens, yet we now honor those who rebelled
Government is of the people , by the people, for the people
but it’s vice-e-versa now
Depends on the laws.
