My understanding of the Throne speech from that King Charles guy:
We're living in unprecedented times.
There are many risks, everywhere.
We're very diverse, but not enough.
We are committed to reconciliation, but not necessarily to reconciliate.
Since WW2, the world has never been more dangerous and uncertain.
Canada is facing unprecedented challenges.
The state will protect you from any challenges from abroad or home.
The government is resolute in protecting the institutions.
The international community has committed to occupy 30% of the land and seas by 2030, to protect nature of course. This is why the Federal government will increase their nationalisation of land.
We'll always protect the chart of rights and freedoms.
Trust the government will always be guided by the principles of free, prior and informed consent.
There will be a cap on foreign immigrant workers of 5% of the population by 2027.
The government promises to only grow at 2% per year, compared to 9% previously.
The government will cut expenditure, while investing much more into Canada's future.
