#asknostr - Newb question on lightning wallets for nostr. Sometimes I can zap from Primal but most of the time I can't. I can zap 100% of the time from Amethyst, but it always makes me sign into Strike.
Thus, I must have setup Strike as my lightning wallet? I would like the process to be more automated so I don't have to log in to Strike for every zap.
I'm not seeing how to make changes in Settings. What am I missing? Any help is appreciated.
Sounds like you don't have Nostr Wallet Connect set up on Amethyst, so when you hit the zap button, you are being prompted to open a Lightning wallet, and Strike is being recognized as one by your OS, but every time you open Strike, you have to log in.
Unfortunately, Strike has not integrated Nostr Wallet Connect yet, so there isn't currently a way to make this more seamless if you are wanting to use Strike for zapping.
If you want the one-tap-zap experience that Nostr Wallet Connect enables, I would highly recommend using nostr:nprofile1qqst4qyeqenw7zm0fwjsty68h6cnys5jre2xd8ngqpjv5a2j26s78fspzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujucm0d9hx7uewd9hj75a0pev. In my opinion, they have become the best custodial lightning wallet experience, and they also support eCash, BOLT12, lightning address, and automatic withdrawals.
Then you just need to get your wallet connection string from Coinos and paste it into Amethyst and you're off to the races.
