When you block someone on Iris, DMs will be locally removed as well, and any further DMs rejected. I believe other clients will do the same.

Iris rejects content from unknown users, so that filters out a lot of the spam. But I'm thinking about adding a "trollbox" that you can enable when you're onboarding a friend, for example, so you can get connected to them.

Good to know, thanks!

Whats the difference/similarities between iris.to and hamster.to?

Or snort.social and nostr.com?relays,apps,platforms,client,notes must also be given simpler definition for the non english-speaking people who finds interest with these things...
