Question is how do we store this notification info on a relay?
Not sure if we can extend meta data in contacts (NIP-02) or use some other event kind to keep track of the pubkeys to follow.
From there I guess the client could compare new events coming in from that pubkey and match up to see when to be notified.

I guess that’s an option but you lose “taking that with you” across clients.
Yes, it’ll be client or device specific. But that’ll cover >80% of ppl
