I don’t understand why it is an attack. Miner will be happy, shitcoin will be happy, ignorant user will be happy. And attract more users is good for bitcoin I guess?

I agree with you. I support it. Seems like a no-brainer to me. More layer 2s means better features for bitcoiners to utilise.
Yes, there is a risk of shitcoinery but thats the same with pretty much any layer 2 protocol. e.g. Taro, Ordinals, Inscriptions, Counterparty, Coloured coins etc.
Also, it should help miners to increase profitability as the block reward subsidy drops each halving.
