I did some ETH/shitcoin consulting years ago. It is nearly impossible to run a node at home. It would take 10s of thousands of dollars to assemble a node and its mempool would still be hugely inaccurate

I made the client pay me in BTC. Those UTXOs are worth a lot today. Had I gotten paid in ETH (lol) it would be worth shit today
