Half the battle is just getting the environment set up lol. Once there just try some silly changes to button functions like print hello world to terminal. After doing a number of these you will start to understand the flow and structure of the code base.
I definitely do! I’ve been told (hey nostr:npub1ysxnqpymj6tq9cvqc6xfsughar0vkynxtyxqjaud5e5hq88cvf2qehzld9 🫶🏼) that one of the best places to start is by contributing to open source projects, especially with documentation-type tasks (at least at first)
I have some experience in node.js and a littttle bit of python but I’m especially interested in rust
