It's quite a drastic change for me. Reddit is fun and twitter were two most used apps on my phone by far.
Both got killed yesterday.
I really hope nostr works out. I am using nostr:npub1plstrz6dhu8q4fq0e4rjpxe2fxe5x87y2w6xpm70gh9qh5tt66kqkgkx8j and So far it seems ok.
Just wish that there would be a way to find all the people from my twitter here 🤔
Ya the fragmentation is real. I haven’t found anyone that I was following on twitter yet and really had to search to find anyone I was interested in. I’m guessing they haven’t figured out a recommendation algorithm?
Loved the ease of setup for #nostr. Kept meaning to try #mastodon but analysis paralysis on which server to use meant I never created an account.
How’s #plebstr compare to #damus?
I don't know. I haven't tried damus yet. My main phone is android so I will have to try it on my Mac M1 air. Will let you know how it compares when I do.
