I get random catfish attempts every other month or so from random numbers on Whatsapp. It amuses me, it's usually some Chinese pretty girl picture, might very well be an actual Chinese op trying to get dirt on anyone they can.
Have I ever been successfully catfished? no - have you?
That's kinda creepy makes me wonder what their motive is.
One that I can think of, was a long time ago.
His pictures looked fine. But he wasn't smiling in any of them. Normal, right?
When we meet, and say hello, he's missing teeth. Mind you, he was young. I can't even remember exactly it was such a long time ago, but I think he was anywhere from 19 - 23
I doubt he was a drug user because he was really shy I could tell he was a sweet kid. So I felt really bad because I knew I wasn't going to talk to him anymore after that day
Yeah I'm really curious too but I don't care enough to engage. Shit that's unexpected, I feel sorry for the guy, but I completely understand how that's really off-putting. I don't blame you, I likely would've done the same.
It reminds me of this uni mate I had, he was a metalhead and went to this metal pub one night, a couple of drinks later and he started getting really into this song next to some girl he was into. They both start headbanging wildly until his top front teeth collided with the back of her head. Shit was fucking brutal if you can imagine it.
She was out cold and they had to call an ambulance, and he was left without his top front teeth. He had amazingly straight teeth too, it was such a fucking change.
Eventually got himself some implants or some shit but it was not the same after that.
