One of the biggest short comes of nostr design is the privacy trades offs.

Specially because clients dont offer ways to treat nsecs as disposable artifacts.

Or at least create BIP85 style derived nsecs from a master nsec.

The way we are using and designing it, it's a gift to the big brother :/

Because from my understanding amethyst is very high on privacy. How safe is my nsec with amethyst.

Maybe it puts little bro on the same playing field??

But yeah…

The government can spy on you -> everyone can spy on you!

Search my npub feed for “nsec” and scroll through the 4mo to 7mo range for more on these ideas.

Bro is having his best life

BIP85 nsecs would be dope.

The permanence, too. It's great that people can't censor notes by deleting them - good for free speech in that sense. But anything said here is a permanent, public record - somewhat sobering.
