There have been times that I valued my reputation over monetary gains. Being known as reliable and backing it up with good work is just as valuable as Bitcoin.
Imo reputation and clout are very different things.

If I had to made the distinction, reputation is a measure of your merit and clout is the influence you have over people or institutions.
Exactly. Reputation is real and clout is fake.
