The state where you have the tightest community that helps each other achieve dreams and won't turn you into the government.
I would say Missouri but we're full. Could probably squeeze your family in though. π It's the perfect central location for road tripping and getting all four seasons in moderation. Vices are cheap here, but It does get humid and there are mosquitoes. π
