Anytime a tech company promises their shiny new product will make your life easier or safer, you should be just as suspicious as if it were the government saying that.

“Self driving cars will save lives”

Maybe so, but what freedoms will be restricted to provide this security? Will you really be able to go anywhere you want, whenever??

I would never get one of those gulag mobiles. The potential for tyranny with them is massive.

Dude it blows my mind how even some bitcoiners don’t see this. It’s truly baffling.

And even beyond the tyranny, spending a career in software and seeing just how wrong things can go, the idea that I’d trust that shit with my life is fucking insane.

💯💯 the most pissed off I’ve gotten anyone on nostr was trashing EVs one dude legit blew up on me 😂

Man they take that shit so personally. We had an EV for a bit but I insisted to my wife we sell it. Was the most unreliable piece of shit I ever owned and primarily because of the software. Which means you can’t fix it yourself, you’re completely fucked until the car company pulls its head out of its ass.

I’m a diesel maxi pre gulag tech

I got us back to a gas vehicle. Still some unfortunate tech, but much more minimized and won’t disable my car if they push bad code or the state decides I’m a baddie 🤣

Lmao stay bad

I'm telling on you guys!

Yeah, no thanks
