It shoudn't but you can save your json files through some clients like Iris and others. In case your list of follows disappears, you can upload back

where in the settings in iris can i upload the json file???
You can go to settings >> backup >> load. The best person to reach out to is nostr:npub1g53mukxnjkcmr94fhryzkqutdz2ukq4ks0gvy5af25rgmwsl4ngq43drvk , Iris's dev
There is no "BACKUP" section under settings

where are you seeing this from, the Iris app ? i do see backup >> load from iris.to. If you are not using the link, perhaps you can try the web version. If you still do not see it, then perhaps you can reach out to Martti either here or on Iris group chat on Telegram. Hope this helps.
