I agree. The Church itself has lost its way to an extent, as has happened many times in the Church’s history.
Important to remember that Christians need not accept whatever teachings are in vogue today, and can instead read the gospel and study the history of the church to come to one’s own conclusions on the Way of Christ. This can be done even while accepting the Church as the continuance of the community created by Jesus and St. Peter.
Is Christianity morphing more into Scientism religion based around fantastical science beliefs with sun worship as their main theme?
Giant sun at the centre of the world, following a sun calendar etc. I mean Georges Lemaître did start the whole thing after all!
