If you think US reliance on fossil fuels has wrecked the climate, wait until you realize:

1. Concrete is the #1 producer of greenhouse gases

2. China is the #1 consumer of concrete

3. China fueled its massive economic growth by building entire cities, complete with countless high-rise apartment complexes that are completely empty and unused

4. All that fake economic growth is in slow collapse. Some of these unfinished ghost cities are being torn down, even.

Just think of all that climate and economic damage, and it was all for nothing.

Should we flagellate ourselves because our energy usage and car-farts are contributing to climate change? Nah, US consumer contribution to climate change is small comparatively.

Should we stop all fossil fuel usage immediately? Our economy is already choking from our mistaken belief that energy usage needs to be curbed. Right now, we need to invest in ALL forms of energy, and strive for energy stability and independence.
