It does, you go to settings > translation and configure https://translate.nostr.wine as a custom libretranslate translator . You need to pay but it works the best
I wish #Damus had a translate option. It would open up the world to each other. I’m seeing tons of Japanese, French, and Hebrew posts I would love to understand real time.
As a dev I know it’s too much to ask, but request sent into the void anyway.

you just publish the eventId you want translated as an input and the language you want as the output
best part, you can query if someone already asked for the translation and just grab the output if it exists
