Heres an idea: threads. Whatever is the latest version posted by the original authors is the only true event. Everything older is considered obsolete. Invitees can respond to the event to accept or decline the event.

Id also like a proposal for anonymonized free-busy data.

recurring events are a bad idea anyway on an immutable platform.

Nothing lasts forever.

- Organizer or Host goes out of business

- Or death of the organizer

Thats a good point, how to attendees of an event store their event in their calendar? Do they just accept it and post it as a reply and their local client scours their "replies" feed for events to add to their calendar?

Can you have certain people have permission to assign events to you without having your private key?
