Finally got the chance to sit down and watch Gladiator 2 and never have I seen a movie try to be a soft reboot and a sequel at the same time like this, honestly don't know how this even got made!

Ridley Scott had a dream that was a sequel Proximo and this was not it!

It was meta because the protagonist doesnt live up to his father's legacy

Lol point taken that and a cash grab off the goodwill from the first one, felt like the matrix 4 like it was made to kill off the idea of making sequels
