Fiat fuels endless wars — it’s the ultimate cheat code for funding destruction and human suffering. Switch to a #Bitcoin Standard, and suddenly, war’s too expensive to play.

Fiat is blood money. #Bitcoin is the peace treaty.

Fiat is only since 1971. Before that was gold standard and eternal peace.

I absolutely agree with the spirit of this, I'm completely anti-war and for the NAP :)

That being said and in the spirit of more resolution, gold governments did confiscate gold to pay for war:

Rome (3rd Century) took temple gold, Henry VIII (1500s) looted monasteries, and Napoleon (1800s) plundered occupied lands. The Confederacy (1860s) seized bank gold, WWI (1914–1918) saw governments requisition citizen gold, and WWII (1939–1945) had Nazis and the U.S. seizing enemy gold. Stalin (1920s–1950s) took church gold for military expansion.

Which then in my opinion leads to a very important point, i.e how do we explain people that war is morally wrong and/or how can we create political/all kinds of systems that make it very hard or expensive to go war, at all levels?

In other words, I do think there's going to be a lot of work ahead. But I agree Bitcoin is definitely the first step! Absolutely.
