First and foremost, and undying dedication to optimism, whether you were born with it or not. Also, a bit of nonconformity, some courage, the ability to tune out haters, the instant belief in the technology once you understoodd it (but you’d have to be a natural-born bitcoiner to even bother do the homework). It takes patience, resolve and an absence of doubt. It takes a sense of humor (when charts drop) and it takes staying humble and not gloating or selling when prices soar. We’re not all the same, for sure, but we get along pretty well because the qualities it takes to become a bitcoiner make us all fairly compatible. I’m especially enjoying my conversations with those on the opposite side of the political spectrum from me, because I believe a new circular bitcoin economy will enable left and right to unite once we break the fiat chains and see that, to steal a line from the great movie Bulworth, “republicans have more in common with democrats than they do with rich people”
