It’s an AI Vision Device to map waves and collect ocean weather data.

But the video was made using our simulation tool! :)

Got you.

Let me play the skeptical investigator.

Why should I use this fancy AI vision over tried and tested accelerometer metocean tech?

Elsat, his coding is on point. His ship is very yarrr

Skeptical feedback is the most useful haha. 👍

Getting high definition data of this sort is significantly cheaper with a vision device vs current SOTA in vessels (x-band radars). It also a passive method which is essential for some uses cases. (Defense, surveillance)

We’re also hoping to target the reliance on weather buoys, which are very limited and static.
