Constitutional democracy and republic are not mutually exclusive.

Republic means no monarchy (king queen etc.)

Constitutional means the countries law is based on a constitution.

And democracy means that citizens either elect their own leaders (representative democracy) or vote directly on policy themselves (direct democracy)

But USA is none of these things.

The constitution is ignored, the elections are rigged, and the politicians act like nobility
