What if I changed the order of the cold wallets but still use the same ones? Would that help?

Never tried that. I may not be the best person to ask for that one.
Also, it is my strong opinion not to use multi-sig.
Just use single-sig with a BIP-39 passphrase. What is cool about it is it makes your seed words useless if compromised as they have to have your BIP 39 passphrase too.
