If the Crowdstrike update caused 100% of updated windows machines to break, the update would have failed during the ISO 27001 required tests, before they pushed it out. Which means either they pushed out a global update with zero testing, or, they did it on purpose.

Mmm, afaik the error was triggered by a null entry. They could have conducted tests but without including the null case for some reason
