I tried to visit the MET when i went to NYC once but had just purchased a bottle of water on the street. Not wanting to dispose of it, I went to another nearby attraction.
So if you do make it there, save the water for later
I would go back to visit New York City for 2 reasons.

Ive no idea whats in The MET. But it was the principle. I would indeed like to see suits of armor, though I did see many as a child at other locations
Have you ever refused to go through airport security because you had a bottle of water? Just saying, it kinda seems like a silly reason to bail. 🤷🏻♂️
