The fact that they can pull those numbers at all says all you need to know about their "decentralization".
Unfortunately, most people don't actually want to fix the root cause, they just want a slightly nicer dictator.

Yeah – that's not a bad idea... we need a few keystone projects that have incredible UX (both social and others) and I think we should experiment with that. Has a high chance of backfiring is all...
