Iβve been an iPhone user since 2007.
When Damus for Android comes out, I might have to make the switch.

Not interested in other Android clients?
Iβm also looking forward to Primal, and I use Amethyst on my Galaxy now. I still donβt have a daily driver client for Android yet.
So far, Damus on my iPhone is my favorite client.

They still working on it?
It seems perpetually "coming soon"
But as an avid Android user, I was interested in trying.
I wish it was simpler to make it's robust features a PWA without app store gatekeepers.
Or that PWAs were more robust generally.
Kinda thinking the same.
I had an iPhone 3! Haha
can't recommend the Pixel + GrapheneOS combo enough. Was a very eye opening experience. Feels great for the glass rectangle in my pocket to not be a surveillance tool
So I met a girl on the OPA and she can't get Damus to work on her IPhone, she said it's frozen
She can pullup profiles, bit she's unable to follow people
I don't use IOS, so I don't know how to help her
I gave her a link to Primal, but she's have the same issues with that app
Do you have any ideas what the problem could be?
No, it could just be an old phone that doesnβt have the right specs.
I knew you would have the answer π€π
Turns out she has the lastest IPhone π€·ββοΈ
How many relays is she on? Send an npub and we can try to help.
That looks like it. Get her onto wss://relay.nostr.band and a couple of paid ones. You can sponsor the admission fee for her with her npub.

Sounds like sheβs signed in with npub instead of nsec.
I thought so too but she showed me a screen share of her setting with her nsec ******* protected in the app
Iβll probably switch back when my 13 no longer receives OS updates
we already have amethyst
Like I said, Iβm a Damus user first, have been for almost a year. Iβve got Amethyst on my Galaxy and it has some awesome features, but Iβm not ready to make the switch until I have more client options.
