Despite knowing I can't indefinitely continue supporting bullshit fan-cooled CPU mining, I have now spent my entire morning and part of the afternoon arguing about and trying to mine #Monero to help provide emergency assistance during this attempted 51% attack.

I have now tried 2 different portable Linux distros on an isolated system, gupax wouldn't work on either of them (Tails and Puppy Linux), in addition to the time wasted earlier on my main laptop before finding out gupax requires you to enter the fucking sudo password in the app itself to use it.

Funny thing is, the first thing it complains about on Puppy Linux is being run without root permission, but then when you run it without root permission, it complains that the password is wrong and it can't get root permission, no matter what password you use (even setting passwords for root and "spot" and using the passwords I set)

This shit is ridiculous. Monero might deserve to fail if the mining software is so heavily designed to suck instead of promoting widespread mining
