If you don't understand why you need to marry, then you don't need it for sure.
If you understand why you need it, then you need to come up with all the possible ways to achieve your goal without the marriage. If there are no alternative possibilities only then I would consider marriage.
It's like paying taxes. Very dumb. You do it only if there's no alternative...
