#Lightning #node ready to go, little bit of BTC on chain ready to open the first channel.

Any #nostriches out there in to opening a 100k sat channel with me? I'm self-hosting on a 24/7 server in my basement - will be building my network slowly as I can add more BTC for larger channels, but I'm counting on this initial small channel to bootstrap.

Trying to get in on that #zap culture

Thank you! However being the newbie I am I locked up my sats in a pending channel that no longer appears likely to open. And now reading that if nothing ever happens on the other side, it may take weeks to drop from the mem pool. 😩

BTW. Liquidity management is a bitch. Sometimes you create a channel and almost immediately the liquidity moves to the other side. The channel you created and liquidity moved is likely not malicious.

Oh sorry. Just reread your note. Your channel isn't created yet. Just stuck in mempool.
