Primal is quicker to setup for zaps if you use the built-in wallet (referring to the apps, not the web version), which is how I assume most people will use it. Damus requires using an external wallet. Zaps in Damus are also officially only profile zaps, although there is a script you can run to enable zaps on individual notes. I assume they'll have note zaps when they launch Damus Android though, since it was only removed due to Apple's restrictions.

Indeed on Android πŸ˜πŸ’œ note zaps!

Awesome πŸ”₯ Btw my Damus Purple expired yesterday. If I re-register on the Damus website will it keep my same subscriber number?

Yep just done it. And it does.

Awesome thanks πŸ™

thanks! that's really awful what Apple does to the consumer. I'm not a fan of the FTC doing anything. but they could address the app store pulling crap like this before during Microsoft for buying call of duty 🀑

I switched to primal app (from amethyst) after the last update and it's blowing me away. now I can on board people so easily. Apple users are still gonna be a hard sell unless I do the setup for them :(

do you use the in app wallet on primal. do they share your info(name, date of birth, email)?

Here’s the Zap script to enable zaps on individual notes:
