A jury has the legal power to say "we see that the evidence shows they broke the law, but the law would be unjust to apply so we won't convict"

Generally, prosecutors will try to find out if you know about jury nullification and get you kicked from the jury if you do.

Otherwise you get some anarchist prick like me on your jury who would never convict a pot dealer or user of a drug crime no matter the scale.
