I would say that, since there is no marketing truly developed in the Nostr environment(no necessity of marketing since there is little users, therefore not HUGE money). Adhering this to the fact that most clients and devs are working solo, or very small teams, there is no time to make things pretty.

Things are made, if they work they go.
