In my field of aviation engineering, there is the tendency to take on “analysis paralysis”.

This is because of many different factors. One of them being the fear of making the wrong decision.

The fact is, “analysis paralysis” is in fact a decision in itself. One that can have a worse outcome than fixing the issue with an partial solution.
