I think there are some legit people coming because of the post on Tik Tok but also there is a flood of fake accounts especially the ones with lightning addresses from the start trying capitalize on the increase attention on the hashtag introductions........

So true. Many people on social media are there to be brainwashed (I mean entertained). They want mind numbing cllips of stupid people doing stupid things. Or clips of sports. Laughs back and forth to numb themselves from a dismal life created by fiat.
So they ain't coming to Nostr any time soon - but I bet Nostr someday has all that TikTok has so those people end up here where large corporate interest are not rotting their brains!
