If you can get privacy through lightning or other layer 2s then are coin joins obsolete anyway?

You can even get privacy on layer 1 Bitcoin if you do things correctly.
Even if you doxxed your xpubs, you can still get privacy without even using coinjoins.
I'm not sure if coinjoins are obsolete but the do come with a cost and a risk. Not a best practice for sure.
