And for some reason my mind thinks of the Noncemeister as this guy from the 1962 film Jack the Giant Killer

The Noncemeister is definitely an over the top Willy Wonka or Mad Hatter type character in my mind, so you’re not that far away 😂
You need a separate book just for the poems
Definitely see the Alice in Wonderland connection, and the Noncemeister initially made me think of the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon, but with a clear Mad Hatter personality.
Eddie is hilarious, and adds a bit of a Wizard of Oz feel to it; which is awesome because Wizard of Oz is likely about monetary policy.

What accent do you think Eddie speaks with? I have a clear one in my mind, but wanted to see if it’s coming through in the writing.
Also, we’re you able to figure out who the characters were from the 1982 scene? You shouldn’t be able to, but wondering if I leaked too many clues.
Honestly, I’ve got a Trump, fast talking New Yorker accent in my head 😂
