You need to disable the trafick of the links and pictures through tor and get the pictures and the links only through VPN.
Thats the best safety/usability approuch
I don't want that many relays. Period. End of story. Why is everyone so adamant about me being ok with something I don't want? Im not using the app anymore. Problem solved, and nothing you or anyone can say will convince me having zero control over connecting to that many relays is a good thing. Its about CHOICE. And I choose to not use an app that removes choice.
